How To Change Your Screen Resolution: |

Step 1: Minimize all open windows currently on your screen,
so as to see the Step 2: Using your mouse, position the pointer any any spot on the Desktop, as long as it is not on top of an icon. In other words, position the mouse on the coloured background. Step 3: Click the right mouse button, and select the item called 'Properties' from the bottom of the pop-up menu that appears. This opens the 'Display Properties' window. Step 4: On the top of the 'Display Properties' window, notice the row of six tabs, with the tab called 'Background' at the forefront. Select the tab called 'Settings', located on the far right of the row of tabs. Step 5: In the 'Screen Area' box, slide the resolution switch over to the right, until you see the numbers 800x600 (if your monitor is already set on 800x600, then make no change and click OK). Press OK when the next two dialogue boxes pop up. The second one is simply informing you that you've altered the screen configuration (precisely what you wanted to do). Your screen should now be set on a resolution of 800x600. NOTE: This Webpage can be viewed on any resolution, but it was designed for optimal viewing at 800x600. Any resolution higher than 800x600 will also yield excellent viewing results.
